The Citrus Production District of Sicily carries out numerous activities according to its functions and objectives as they are expressed within the Development Pact it proposes to implement.
All activities and initiatives aim to contribute to the development and qualification of firms and private and public entities and groups, with the main objective of enhancing single firms’ competitiveness within the Sicilian citrus production chain, through the implementation of appropriate and necessary synergies, improving the position of quality, PDO, PGI and organic citrus products on national and international markets and, at the same time, allowing for positive spin-off effects on all other citrus farming products in the territory and beyond.
